Running off to join the Circus!

Circus Workshop trip provides a true highlight of the week for Year 4!
Our Year 4 class went off to East Norfolk Schools and Community Champions to take part in a Young Out There workshop involving an array of different activities combined with a showcase of some circus skills and talents from the performing team. There was the Hocus Pocus Theatre, an immersive theatre experience with themes of cabaret, Jon Hicks' live painting, Tamzin Moulding's hand balancing, Dulce Duca's surrealistic shows and Darryl. J. Carrington's juggling, clowning and street theatre. A highly interesting and engaging experience.
The children have been enjoying the nice weather and looking forward to going out on the field each and every day. Our attention will now turn to getting groups of children (who are keen and have consent) to participate in bee hive inspections and hive maintenance. I may begin a club soon, where frames can be made by hand and the children want to learn more about such fantastic creatures. Stay tuned!
Next week, will be dominated by Year 6 sitting their KS2 SATs, but they will be supported by a very nurturing and experienced team at each step of the way, not to mention the school providing the children with breakfast each day and topping the week off on Friday with a reward trip to Scratby beach. Let us hope the weather will be as good as it has been this week. Please ensure all Year 6 children have lots of tender, loving care, not to mention some good food and early nights in readiness for Monday. They will all be fine and encouraged to do their very best.
It will also be our Year 5s residential to PGL Overstrand, which i know they have all been looking forward to.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
