SATS the way to do it!

KS2 SATS dominate the week!
It has been a hectic week for the Year 6 pupils as they faced their SATS papers, but I have to say I think they have all been fantastic and applied themselves to the tasks responsibly and in such good spirits, never losing their senses of humour at all. Each day they all had hearty breakfasts provided, but their treat was a trip to Scratby beach together in recognition for their efforts on Friday. I truly hope their results recognise the effort they have put in over the course of the year.
At the same time as the Year 6 class were battling question after question, the Year 5 children went off to Whitwell Hall for their residential with Miss. McMylor and Mrs. Angel in tow. Here, they have experienced kayaking, boat and shelter building, river dipping and creating artistic designs with natural resources. I have no doubt they all have wonderful stories to tell and have all made lasting memories together. No doubt, they will sleep well when they get home.
Next week, we look forward to welcoming in our Governors for another Challenge Day with an SEND focus. We will be cheering on our Years 5 & 6 girls' footballers who have their first cup final against Martham to play. We will also have the Hickling House Captains as Headteachers for the Day and we will welcome the arrival of a half-term break.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
