The Wonderful World of Ormesby Junior

It has been our first full week into our new academic year and our Juniors have all been working hard to settle even further into their new classes. Our Year 3 cohort have been getting used to being a Junior pupil, finding their feet around the premises and enjoying new learning from our curriculum.  

Staff have completed the new anaphylaxis training following Benedict's Law. It was positive to learn more deeply about the different types of allergens and it ensures our children are now even safer than before. 

On Friday, the children commemorated the life's works of author, Roald Dahl, by bringing in some of his most popular books and completing some fun Dahl-esque activities. Staff also shared some extracts from his novels. 

Next week, on Tuesday, Caister Academy is visiting to see Year 6 ahead of their choices for High School. We are also looking forward to welcoming back our Open the Book team for another year.
