Carols from all Corners!

Carol Singing resonates throughout the school!
This week has been very busy for the staff and pupils regarding the various Christmas events and activities. The rehearsals for the Junior Carol Concert performances have been ongoing and it has been really lovely to hear the different songs being sung, the instrumental accompaniments and the clarity of the different readers. The songs do get stuck in your head and I do find myself humming them randomly from time to time. I am sure both shows will be successful. Thank you to parents also for doing their bit to ensure their children return for the evening performance so that both events can produce the same quality.
On Tuesday, parents visited for our Junior Curriculum Celebration event, the first one of the year. Thank you to all who came in and I hope you found looking through the children's work with them alongside, productive and meaningful. There will be another in the Spring Term, if you were unable to make it this term, so keep an eye out for the date.
On Friday evening we will have the Family Carol Concert in St. Margaret's Church from 6:00pm, where some of our children have volunteered to read and sing traditional carols together. We have songs from the choir and some refreshments after. I am sure it will be a great evening event. Thank you to the Church for hosting. Here, we will also be able to see the Federation's Christmas Tree entry into the tree festival the Church is also running.
Next week, the Year 3 children will be watching the Infant dress rehearsal on Monday. Then they have the main two performances on Tuesday 16th December at 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Please remember to pick your tickets up from the main office. On Thursday 18th December, we have our Christmas Dinner and Jumpers day, followed by Christmas Parties with Jumpers on Friday 19th December, which is our final day of the term.
Have a great weekend everyone!
